Ukrainian Citizen Drowns in Lake Sevan

On August 13, at 8:30 PM, the operational control center of the Gegharkunik region of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report regarding a drowned person on the public beach of Lake Sevan. An operational group was dispatched to the specified address. Through collaborative efforts with the rescue department of Gegharkunik region, it was determined that the deceased individual was a citizen of the Republic of Ukraine. The investigation revealed that he had drowned while swimming at the public beach of Lake Sevan, approximately 30 meters from the shore, at around 8:40 PM. Subsequently, rescuers successfully retrieved his body from the lake. The necessary documentation was forwarded to the investigative department of Sevan.
