Another injured passenger, not regaining consciousness, dies in resuscitation /UPDATED/
As previously reported, about 22:10 on October 20 a «VAZ-21214» model automobile collided with a «BMW-320» on the 2nd km of Yeghvard-Yerevan highway. As a result of the accident the driver of the «VAZ-21214» and 6 passengers were hospitalized with bodily injuries. One of the passengers – Edgar Hakobyan – deceased in hospital.
At 08:30 on October 21 Nayiri police division received a report from hospital that another passenger – Edvard Hakobyan – not regaining consciousness, deceased in resuscitation department at 03:50 on the same day.
The Investigation of the criminal case initiated on the given fact under article 242, paragraph 3 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia, is underway.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
