30.09.2013 11:54 Other crimes

About 23:10 on august 25 a young man came up to the Patrol and Sentry service officers serving near Yerevan Mayor's office and reported that about 22:20 on the same day 3 strangers had come up to him on «Haghtanak» bridge, started a quarrel, stroke him hand-blows and fled the scene.
Mkrtich T., DOB 1966, was invited to the Central police station to make a statement where he reported that at 22:20 on august 25 3 unknown men came up to him, started a groundless argument, during which one of the fellows stroke hand-blows to his face and right arm, causing injuries and fleeing the scene.
A forensic medical examination was assigned.
On September 14 Central investigation division initiated a crimial case under article 118 of the RA Criminal code.
Mkrtich T., the injured party, never came to the Central police division after giving explanations and making a statement.  He refused to come to the police station, to give explanations and bear corresponding testimony, or to go through forensic medical examination.
Anyway, as a result of the operational and search measures taken by police officers, the Central police division recently received certain operational data according to which the three assaulters who caused Mkrtich T. bodily injuries on “Haghtanak” bridge at 22:10 on August 25 are Artur T., DOB 1976, Vagharshak V., DOB 1974, and Vadim V., DOV 1965.
About 20:20 on September 28 Artur T., Vagharshak V. and Vadim V. were detained near one of the metropolitan cafes and were brought to Police Central division where they pleaded guity.
Investigation is underway.
