02.05.2013 14:05 Elections

The RA police Passport and Visa department hotline service operating ahead of the elections of Yerevan city Elders' Council to be held on 05.05.2013 has so far received 25 calls, of which only 3 referring the voters’ lists.
Particularly,
1. A citizen called and reported that his personal data missed in the voters’ lists. As a result of the ensuing examination, the inaccuracy was revealed and eliminated.
2. Citizen Robert Avetisyan reported that his brother Samvel Avetisyan died in 1999, though his personal data were still included in the voters' list. As a result of a check it was found out that the corresponding record on the citizen's death fact was made only in the apartment card, therefore his personal data were still on the voters' list. The inaccuracy was eliminated.
3. Citizen Siranush Harutyunyan reported that she actually lives at the following address: ap. 42, build. 3, Avanesov blind alley, Yerevan city, though the number of the apartment was mistakenly specified as 2 in the voters' list. As a result of an ensuing examination the inaccuracy was revealed and eliminated at once.
The other 22 reports referred to the order of striking ex-owners of domestic building off the register, as well as the process of examining the applications for striking off the register and cases when people found difficulty in finding their personal data on the voters' list.
All the inquirers were provided exhaustive information and clarification.
