The driver who had abducted the suitcases was detained

On October 7, an application was received at the Line Department of “Zvartnots” airport, that one of the Yerevan-Moscow-Los Angeles flight passengers left 2 pieces of his baggage in the salon of an unknown-model taxi automobile.
Due to the undertaken operative investigation measures, On October 8, at 21:00 p.m., at the Line department of “Zvartnots” airport the driver of the “Vaz-21010” – model automobile, Sipan N., born in 1991,  was detained, who had  transferred the passenger to “Zvartnots” airport.
It was found out, that at the airport, taking advantage of the passenger’s absent-mindedness, he stole two suitcases and appropriated the content: new and worn clothing, souvenirs.
The size of the caused material damage is being estimated.
The stolen items were confiscated.
An investigation is underway.
