Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, hosts a regular meeting of CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs

On September 10 a regular meeting of CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs took place in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, in which the  Armenian police delegation headed by first deputy chief of the RA police, Major General Hunan Poghosyan partook.
Issues concerning priorities of the cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs (Police) of the CIS member states, the implementation of the interstate program of joint measures for combating crime, elaboration of the conception of development of cooperation between the the ministries of internal affairs of the CIS member states were discussed during the meeting.
Particularly,  the progress of the realization of the projects of the interstate program of joint measures for combating crime from 2014 to 2018, realization of program of cooperation in combating illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursor and counteraction to drug abuse, as well as the implementation of a number of decisions made during the previous meetings were considered by the participants.
First deputy chief of the RA police, Major General Hunan Poghosyan made a report on the first issue of the agenda, namely: priorities of the cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs (police) of the CIS member states, the implementation of the interstate program of joint measures for combating crime.
