New speedometers to be put into operation on June 30, 2014

Traffic Police of the Republic of Armenia would like to inform You that speedometer installation works on highways of interstate significance are underway.
In particular, from June 30, 2014 speedometers recently located on the following road sections will be exploited:

1. newly-built road connecting Isakov avenue to Leningradyan street, 2 double faced speedometers. The speed limit on this road section is 70 kph.
2. Kievyan street, Yerevan: from the intersection of Kievyan and Orbeli Brothers streets towards the intersection of Kievyan and Halabyan streets; 1 double faced speedometer. The speed limit on this road section is 60 kph;
3. David Bek street, Yerevan: from the intersection of David Bek and Karakhanyan streets towards the intersection of David Bek and Hunan Avetisyan streets;  1 double faced speedometer. The speed limit on this road section is 60 kph;
4. 328.5 km of M-2 ("Yerevan-Yeraskh-Goris-Meghri-border of Islamic Republic of Iran") highway of interstate significance (administrative territory of Kajaran town) – 1 double faced speedometer, the speed limit on this road section is 60 kph.
Traffic Police once again call on drivers to keep the traffic rules.
