The results of the examinations carried out on the basis of the alerts received by the Hotline service operating for the sake of excluding inaccuracies in the voters’ lists ahead of the RA presidential elections to be held on 18.02.2013 (as of 13.02.2013)

14.02.2013 14:27 Elections
The RA police Passport and Visa department hotline service operating ahead of the RA presidential elections to be held on 18.02.2013 has so far received 186 calls, of which only 34 touched upon the voters’ lists.
34 citizens who contacted the Hotline were provided necessary information, the examination revealed 4 inaccuracies which were all eliminated.
Thus, 21 citizens reported that though they were registered in the State Population register their data missed in the voters’ lists. A further check-up revealed that the citizen’s records appeared in the State Register of Population in January, after the voters' register was promulgated. The citizens were assured that their data will be included into the final lists of voters.
A citizen called and reported that an unknown person was found registered in his apartment located at Kievyan 9. The ensuing examination showed that the apartments in each entrance of the building 9 on Kievyan street are numerated starting from number 1, therefore the same apartment 11 in each entrance belongs to different families.
A citizen reported that his address in the voters' list doesn't correspond to the address he is registered at. It was found out that the problem was connected with addressing during which a technical mistake had been made. The inaccuracy was eliminated.
A citizen reported that an unknown person was registered at his address. The change of the mentioned address solved the problem.
Moreover, the RA Police Passport and Visa department provided information about 7 citizens, who had deceased abroad and  whose data were on the lists. The Police found out that the State Population Register was not duly notified of the citizens' death.
As a result of the measures undertaken by the police officials, all the 7 citizens' data were excluded from the lists.
3 citizens who contacted the Hotline informed about citizens' death. The further examination showed that the mentioned persons were excluded from the State population register after the preliminary lists were promulgated. Their data will be excluded from the final lists.
As for the other 152 citizens who contacted the Hotline, they were all provided with an exhaustive consultation.
