Wanted foreigner detected and transferred to Penitentiary
As a result of joint measures taken by the employees of the General Department of Criminal Police, Syunik Marz Department and Goris division of the RA Police, on August 14, Hussein T. was detected in the village of Tegh, Syunik marz, and transferred to a penitentiary institution. The foreigner had been wanted on charges under articles 267.1 (Trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and (or) their precursors) and 268 of RA Criminal Code (Illegal circulation of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without the purpose of selling).
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
