Criminal case initiated in connection with a stabbing murder

On Sunday, June 28 at 9:10 p.m. Shengavit police division received a report about a stabbed man’s body found in the backyard of the dwelling house at 4 Kajaznuni street, Yerevan.
At 9:30 p.m. that same day Police received a report from hospital about a 35-year-old man’s hospitalization with the diagnosis of “stab and incised wounds on the left groin», while the man had died on way to hospital.
The victim was identified as Armen Melikyan, DOB 1977.
In connection with Armen M.’s murder a criminal case has been initiated under the Republic of Armenia Criminal code,a rticle 104.
Investigation is underway.
