STATEMENT

Recently media have been periodically spreading information according to which activists of the current civil actions were subjected to violence and battery by unknown persons and besides, the police is accused of showing inactivity in detecting those criminal acts.
Those accusations are groundless.
The police are focused on both those kind of violences which were recently registered, the reactions to them and the unfounded statements made concerning them.
The police of the RA state that investigations are conducted in connection with all the mentioned cases, corresponding and necessary measures are being taken and in that process we expect the support of the citizens who witnessed those cases. The anonimity is guaranteed.
The police are reminding once more that there are no undetectable crimes, one should only accept that each detection demands some time. The descriptions of concrete cases made by “solicitous rowdies” are now under the disposal of the police and they give cause to suppose that the mentioned criminal acts had been planned in advance. Moreover, the publication of the objective descriptions made by the same “solicitous persons” makes the malefactors more cautious and complicates the process of detection.
Dozens of similar cases are usually registered in the republic, and they are all detected sooner or later. Police assure that these cases will also be detected, especially in case the «media's preoccupation» is substituted by real civil preoccupation and support.
Once more, we call upon everybody for help in that not-so-easy work, and, please, don't impede the police unless You help them. Because the police are firstly interested in detection of those cases, as the latters aggravate the operative situation, the stability of which is the priority of the police.
