Cooperative relationship between Armenian and Georgian law enforcers to promote not only bilateral exchange of advanced experience,  but also common struggle against crime

On September 23 head of Yerevan city department of the RA police, Police Colonel Ashot Karapetyan received the Georgian delegation which had left for Armenia with working visit. The delegation was led by head of Tbilisi city department of Georgian Ministry of Interior, Police Colonel Alexandr Chikaidze. 
During the meeting Ashot Karapetyan introduced the  current phase of reforms now being fulfilled in the police system, as well as represented the transformations which are currently being carried out in the structure he is in charge of. Ashot Karapetyan noted that the aforementioned transformations are aimed at modernizing the structural units and improving effectiveness of their operation.
Alexander Chikaidze expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and assured that cooperative relationship between Armenian and Georgian law enforcers will promote not only bilateral exchange of advanced experience,  but also common struggle against crime.
A number of issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
