Reception at the RA Police: the cooperation is strengthening

Today, August 10, Head of Police Headquarters, Police Colonel Armen Mkrtchyan received Mrs. Heather Berg, Legal Attaché of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (residence in Georgia), and U.S. Embassy's International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Program representatives.
Welcoming the guests, Armen Mkrtchyan noted that the working relationship between the Police of the Republic of Armenia and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation is at a high level, and  is being continuously strengthened and expanded, thus creating a solid basis for further development of the partnership. The INL Program’s assistance to ongoing police reforms was especially underlined.
Thanking for the warm reception, Mrs. Heather Berg expressed readiness to continue the cooperation with the RA Police more effectively.
During the meeting, the two sides had a meaningful and substantive discussion on the training of police officers, as well as exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
