Foreigner wanted in Germany found at Yerevan’s "Zvartnots" airport
As a result of operational-search measures carried out by the employees of the Criminal Investigation unit of "Zvartnots" airport police Line division, on January 8, after the arrival of Tehran-Yerevan flight, Sayed M. was taken to the Police division. The foreigner had been wanted by Interpol NCB of the Federal Republic of Germany on charges of the relevant articles (Violation of the drug trafficking law).
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint.
The Interpol NCB in Armenia and the Prosecutor's Office were informed about the capture of Sayed M.
Sayed M. is arrested.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
