Thanks to the measures taken by the officers of the line department of the “Zvartnots” airport, a 56-year-old foreign citizen was arrested and taken to the police line department after the arrival of the St. Petersburg-Yerevan flight on September 24. The person had been wanted by the US Interpol since June 29 on charges of illegal distribution of psychotropic drugs.
The preventive measure is arrest.
The NCB of the Interpol in Armenia and the Prosecutor's office have been notified of the detection.
