Person Charged with Large-Scale Drug Trafficking Detained in Yerevan

On September 8, at 8:05 AM, due to the joint operative-investigative measures taken by the officers of the Main Department of the Criminal Police and the Avan Division, a 24-year-old citizen of Kazakhstan was found and detained on Acharyan Street of Yerevan and taken to Nor Nork Department of the Police. He had been wanted by the law enforcement officers of Kazakhstan since August 15 on charges of illegal trafficking of particularly large amounts of drugs.
Arrest has been selected as a measure of restraint.
