Police solve the theft committed by Yerevan-Istanbul flight passenger

On Monday October 6 at 4:10 p.m. Hamlet A., DOB 1971, was detected in Gyumri and detained on suspicion of theft following special measures taken by officers of the “Zvartnots” Line division of the RA Police.
Police operatives established that Hamlet A. had stolen a man’s leather bag from a duty-free shop in the departure hall of  “Zvartnots” airport, Yerevan, on September 8, at 3:15 a.m.
The total damage  is estimated at 126 400 AMD.
Hamlet A. has pleaded guilty.
The circumstances of the incident are being looked into.
The filed materials were submitted to "Zvartnots" airport investigation division of the RA Investigative Committee.
