25-year-old Aygedzor village resident deceases after a mine explodes in a mined area

At 17:00 on September 24 a doctor from Aygedzor hospital reported Tavush police division that Edvard Dallaqyan, DOB 1987, deceased after a mine exploded in “Navtazi balan” field area. Dallaqyan suffered injuries resulting in “traumatic amputation at right knee level”.
It was established that about 15:30, returning home from a neighbouring pasture, suddenly Dallaqyan found himself in the mined area of the same filed, in Armenian and Azerbaijani stronghold. The mine exploded and Dallaqyan deceased on the way to hospital.
Forensic and medical examination has been assigned.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
