A fatal knife-fight in Garni

25.02.2013 12:48 Infliction of bodily damage which caused the death of the aggrieved

At 02:20 on February 24., Kotayq police division received a report that Artush Gevorgyan, born in 1985, was hospitalized with bodily injuries from Garni village. In the hospital, not regaing consiousness, he deceased.
Due to the operational and search measures undertaken by the police officers at 13:00 on Februrary 24, Arman Sh., born in 1992, was detained in Jrvezh village. The detainee confessed that on February 23, in the period between 23:00 and 24:00,  he delivered blows to Artush Gevorgyan with a knife.
Arman Sh. is arrested.
The preliminary inquiry is underway.
