According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 53 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 20 to August 21, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 8 cases of infliction of bodily harm and fraud, 6 cases of personal theft, 3 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, 2 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, bribery, sowing or cultivation of forbidden plants containing drugs, intentional damage to property and forgery of documents, 1 case of kidnapping, robbery, burglary, extortion, illegal or false interprenual activity, battery, abuse of office, counterfeiting, drug detection, illegal or pseudo-entrepreneurship, threats to murder, violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules, evasion from paying alimony.
1 wanted person has been detected, another one turned himself in to the Police.
From earlier committed crimes 4 cases of personal theft and 2 cases of infliction of bodily injuries have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 17 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 21 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
