According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 54 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 6 to August 7, 5 of which were previously committed crimes.
In particular, 10 cases of Infliction of bodily harm, 8 cases of fraud, 5 cases of personal theft, 4 cases of abuse of office, battery and cultivation of forbidden plants containing drugs, 3 cases of drug detection, 2 cases of deliberate destruction of property and illegal felling of trees, 1 case of robbery, hijacking of a vehicle, abuse of their powers by employees of commercial or other organizations, distribution of pornographic materials, committing indecent actions and threats to murder.
2 wanted persons have been detected, 3 others turned themselves in to the Police, 2 missing persons have been found, 4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of personal theft and burglary and 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 16 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 2 persons died, 16 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
