Father stabbed to death by his own son in Stepanavan

At 22:20 on September 4 Stepanavan police division received a report from Emergency station informing that Samvel Julhakyan, DOB 1965, was found dead in his own place on the arrival of the emergency team.
The police tactical group found Samvel Julhakyan's, DOB 1965, body with an incised and stabbed wound to chest.
On September 5 thanks to the operational and search as well as investigation measures taken by officers of Stepanavan police division, it was established that about 21:00 on September 4 Samvel Julhakyan received a stab wound to the right part of his chest in his own place, being stabbed to death by his own son Vanik Julhakyan, DOB 1982.
The knife – crime instrument – has been seized.
Vanik Julhakyan is arrested.
Criminal proceeding has been initiated under article 104, part 1 of the RA Criminal code.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
