Clarification

Police of the Republic of Armenia is stating that on the night of July 21, 136 citizens were taken to the territorial divisions of the Yerevan City Department of the Police on suspicion of making threats of violence or using violence with and  without danger to life or health against a representative of authorities.
In case of unjustified suspicion these persons were released in terms envisaged by law or were handed over to the preliminary investigation body for conducting investigations.
In several cases, investigative action "detention" was taken by the preliminary investigation body, since there were sufficient grounds for suspicion of committing a crime.
