On Wednesday, April 27 Head of the Headquarters of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Police Major General Aram Zakaryan received Legal Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Georgia Mrs. Kathy Caning and Assistant Attaché Mrs. Marlene Benson.
Welcoming the guests, Mr. Zakaryan stated that the working relationship maintained between the Armenian Police and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation is being consistently strengthened and expanded, laying strong foundation for the future development of the bilateral partnership.
In her turn, Mrs. Kаtհy Caning expressed her gratitude for warm welcome and expressed her willingness to make the cooperation with the Armenian Police much more effective.
Issues related to data exchange and organization of refresher courses for police officers were discussed during the meeting.
Mrs. Marlene Benson who is about to finish her mission in our country, thanked the Armenian side for efficient cooperation and high professionalism demonstrated during her tenure.
The meeting agenda also included other issues of mutual interest.
