The newborn child was left helpless and abandoned

On November 6, at 19:55 at the Front office of Yerevan city police department an alarm call was received from a citizen, informing that someone left a child at his neighbour’s door.
On the same day at 21:00 a citizen of Jrvezh area reported the arrived operative group  that at 19:30 an unknown person left a newborn child at the door of the 9-th apartment on the 3-rd floor of the building.
 The following note was found in the child's nappy: «31.10.2012, MARIAMIK». It was also mentioned in it, that «the child was abandoned out of needs».
Measures are being undertaken to find out the person, who left the child helpless.
An investigation is underway.
