Police Chief pays a working visit to Lori marz (VIDEO and PHOTOS)

On Tuesday March 25 Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan paid a working visit to Lori marz, where he met with the top brass of Lori Marz Department of the RA Police and representatives of Lori marz administration. 
During the meeting convoked at Lori Marz Department Vladimir Gasparyan touched upon the ongoing radical reforms, as well as priority tasks set before the Police territorial subdivisions and emphasized the necessity of formation of new Police system by combining  traditional and modern approaches to preserving the best traditions.
The Police Chief assured that Police have the consistency to combat such vicious phenomena like crime concealment, use of force when taking testimony and etc. Vladimir Gasparyan again laid stress on the irrevocability of the process of both such inner fight and Police reforms on the whole.
Analyzing the  functional peculiarities of operational services and police territorial  subdivisions, which directly contact with the population, the Police Chief drew participants' attention to the importance of coordination of police activities in the territories and emphasized the necessity of mentoring and holding regular practical courses to raise the level of police officers’ professional readiness to a high level.
By the end of the meeting Vladimir Gasparyan touched upon the issues of improvement of working conditions at Lori Marz Department and its subdivisions, and gave specific instructions expressing the hope that the new Police formation will henceforth be a matter of each police officer's professional dignity.
 After the working conference Vladimir Gasparyan met with local community Heads at Lori Dzor marzpetaran.
During the meeting the Police Chief spoke about the spheres where Police are ready to render complex legal and humanitarian assistance to both the local residents and Heads of communities, at the same time stating that Police expect adequate feedback and responsible behavior of citizens.
Summarizing the results of the meeting, Vladimir Gasparyan assured that Police are determined to achieve the successful completion of planned programs aimed at public confidence building and improvement of relations between the Police and the public.
