Police detain 2 fugitive swindlers

On Saturday May 10 at 12:15 p.m. Vahagn B., DOB 1954, was detained at the intersection of M. Babajanyan and H. Acharyan streets, Yerevan following special operational search measures taken by police officers. The detainee had been wanted for swindling since March 11 of this year.

On Sunday May 11 at 8:20 p.m. Karen Ch., DOB 1982, was transported to Armenia by Moscow-Yerevan flight under the supervision of operatives from the General Department of Criminal Intelligence of the RA Police. The man had been wanted by Arabkir police division charged under the RA Criminal Code, article 178, part 2, point 2 /swindling/ since June 3, 2013.
