Police detain Russian citizen wanted for kidnapping, extortion and gangsterism

On Wednesday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. Russian citizen Sayad S., DOB 1988, was detained in Charentsavan town following special measures taken jointly by officers from the General Department of Criminal Intelligence, Kotayk Marz Department and Charentsavan divison of the RA Police. The detainee had been wanted by law enforcement bodies of Kurgan oblast, Russia, charged for kidnapping, extortion and gangsterism since December 26, 2013.
