Speedometer installation works underway on metropolitan streets and highways of interstate significance

Traffic Police inform that works are underway to install speedometers controlling road traffic and fixing traffic rule violations on metropolitan streets and highways of interstate significance.
In particular, from December 23, 2013, speedometers which have recently been set up on the following streets will be exploited: Zakaria Kanakertsu, Yerevan (1 double-faced speedometer), Gevorg Chaush ( 1 speedometer, direction: from Ashtarak highway towards the intersection of Mazmanyan and Shiraz streets), Heratsi 1 (1 speedometer, direction: from Myasnikyan avenue towards Komitas avenue), as wel as Gasparyan street, Tairov community, armavir province (M-5 motorway section leading to «Zvartnots» airport).
The speed limit on these road sections is 60 km/h;
The Traffic Police once more urges drivers to keep the Traffic rules.
