Wanted persons detained, including those on an International and interstate wanted list

On October 19 at 20.30 pm a 34-year-old Ukrainian citizen of Armenian ethnicity was detained after the Moscow -Yerevan flight arrival in the arrivals hall of the Yerevan Zvartnots airport by Police officers of the Vagharshapat division of the RA Police. The man had been wanted by the Armavir division of the Police on charges under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, since July 19.
The initiator of the intelligence was informed of his capture.

On the same day, as a result of the explanatory work carried out by the officers of the Vagharshapat division of the RA Police, 38-year-old resident of Araks village arrived from Sochi toYerevan and turned himself in to Vagharshapat division. The man had been wanted on charges of part 1 of article 325 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia since September 24.

On October 19, at 23.20, as a result of operational-search measures carried out by the “Zvartnots” airport division of the RA Police, a 56-year-old Russian citizen was detained after the arrival of Nursultan –Yerevan flight. The man had been wanted by law enforcement bodies of the Omsk oblast of the Russian Federation on charges under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation since July 26.
The initiator of the intelligence and the prosecutor's office of the administrative district of Malatia-Sebastia of the city of Yerevan were informed of his capture.

Two citizens of the Kingdom of Norway were detained while crossing the Armenian-Iranian state border at the “Agarak” checkpoint On October 19 at 23.15 pm. The 26-year-old and the 36-year-old men were declared internationally wanted by the Kingdom of Norway on charges under Articles 231 and 232 of the Criminal Code of Norway since August 2.
Custody has been selected as a measure of restraint.

As a result of the explanatory work carried out by the officers of the criminal investigation department of the Marash police station of the RA, on October 21 at 02.45 after the arrival of Minsk –Yerevan flight, a 24-year-old resident of Krivoy Street, Minsk, who had been wanted on charges under Article 117 of the RA Criminal Code since October 7, was detained.

As a result of the explanatory work carried out by the Criminal Investigation division of Vagharshapat Division of the RA Police, a 28-year-old resident of Nor Kharberd, who was wanted by the Erebuni division of the RA Police on charges of article 177 of the RA Criminal Code, turned himself to the police on October 20,.
